It has been 100 years since Roald Dahl was born and almost every child or adult has read one of his books. There are very few people who are not familiar with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Fantastic Mr Fox, Matilda or The BFG.
Roald Dahl is regarded as “one of the greatest storytellers for children of the 20th century”. He is amongst the world’s best selling authors with sales estimated at over 200 million and his books being published in close to 60 languages.
